Efteling Selects Connect-D for Large-Scale Hospitality TV & Casting Implementation Across All Accommodation Locations
Kaatsheuvel, The Netherlands – August 2025 – Efteling has successfully completed the rollout of a new hospitality TV and casting platform across its accommodation portfolio, delivering a modern and seamless digital guest experience throughout its hotels and holiday parks.
The implementation was delivered by Connect-D, which was responsible for the end-to-end integration of the hospitality TV environment, including secure guest casting functionality, centralized management, and the integration of multiple backend systems.
The project covered all accommodation locations within the Efteling resort environment and presented a significant technical and operational challenge due to the extensive UI/UX requirements and the need for seamless interoperability between systems.
A major focus of the project was the creation of an intuitive and consistent guest experience. The platform was designed to align with the distinctive Efteling brand identity while ensuring ease of use for guests of all ages and international backgrounds. Extensive attention was given to user interface design, multilingual navigation, accessibility, and frictionless casting workflows.
In addition to the guest-facing experience, the implementation required complex integrations with existing hospitality systems and operational platforms. The solution combined entertainment, information services, guest communication, and personalized content delivery within one centralized ecosystem.

The new platform enables guests to securely cast personal content from their own devices directly to in-room televisions while maintaining strict privacy and network isolation standards. At the same time, Efteling can centrally manage content, communication, and guest information across all locations.
