Connect-D Delivers Fully Integrated Smart Technology Environment for New Necap Construct Headquarters
Bornem, Belgium – May 2026 – Connect-D has successfully awarded the contract for the delivery and integration of the complete smart building technology infrastructure for the new headquarters of Necap Construct in Bornem.
As Master System Integrator, Connect-D is responsible for the design, deployment, and integration of all core digital building technologies within the new office environment. The scope of the project included enterprise networking, PoE lighting, CCTV security, access control, room reservation systems, audiovisual solutions, digital signage, and the integration of all connected platforms into one centralized smart building ecosystem.
The new headquarters was designed with a strong focus on operational efficiency, flexibility, and future-ready workplace technology. By integrating all systems through a unified infrastructure, Connect-D enabled seamless communication between building technologies while simplifying management and maintenance processes for the facility team.
One of the key aspects of the project was the implementation of an advanced Power over Ethernet (PoE) lighting infrastructure, allowing centralized control, energy optimization, and intelligent automation throughout the building. Combined with integrated access control, CCTV monitoring, and room booking systems, the headquarters will benefit from a highly connected and secure working environment.
In addition, modern AV solutions and digital signage platforms were deployed to support internal communication, meeting collaboration, visitor management, and corporate branding throughout the office spaces.
